[Checkin Management](https://support.pointapp.org/knowledge/opportunities?hsLang=en#checkin-management) # How to check-in groups with reserved spots? ## With reserved groups, volunteers can sign up for spots themselves, or you can assign them to a contact record. Once a spot is assigned, they can be checked in by you or through self-check-in with Pro.   If you’ve reserved spots for a group, you'll see a "Total Spots Reserved" and "Spots Confirmed After Reservation" box in your volunteer roster of the opportunity. Scroll to the bottom to view the reserved spots section. If the status says “**Reserved**”, it means that the spots are reserved but members of that group have not yet confirmed they will attend. You can click on “Assign Spot” under the “Actions” column to assign a specific volunteer to a reserved spot.  If the status says “**Signed Up**”, it means that members of that group have signed up for a reserved spot and confirmed that they will attend. You will be able to see which people have signed up for the reserved spots.  Checking in volunteers with reserved spots is the same as [checking in](https://support.pointapp.org/knowledge/how-do-you-check-in-volunteers?hsLang=en)regular volunteers, but you will be able to see that they had a reserved spot. When the volunteer shows up, just change their Status to “Checked-In”. ### How to check-in groups with reserved spots :   *\*Note: You can't check in the entire group at once. Each volunteer with a reserved spot needs to be checked in individually.* Questions?
