How can I create shifts?

Have a long day planned? Separate your event into shifts to attract more volunteers. We recommend 2 hours.

Here’s how to make this happen: 

  1. When creating your event, the “When” section has you enter an event duration. This is located in the second step of the "Where & When" event creation process. 

  2. Hit “+Add shift”. Make sure you edit how many volunteers you need for each shift!

  3. Please fill in "Shift Name" and "Shift Description" so volunteers understand the difference between shifts.

    4. After filling in your event information, go to the last step "Volunteer Requirements"  scroll down the page, and publish the event. This will make that event live to the masses, or you can save it as a draft and keep it handy for later use.

Hint: Volunteers can sign up for multiple shifts on the app.
