What are the different type of exports and what can they be used for?

Learn about the different types of exports available and how each one can be used to manage and analyze your data effectively.

See the different types of exports on POINT:

  • Contact Data Export: This export allows you to retrieve your volunteers' information, such as contact details and hours worked. It's perfect for when you need to pull basic information about your contacts. Export can be pulled from the Contacts page or the Group Details page. 
  • Hours Report: This export includes both historic and future hours for your volunteers. It's ideal for reviewing the total hours worked across your organization and tracking individual volunteer contributions.
  • Volunteer Stats: This export provides an overview of your organization's performance, including total volunteer hours and identifying your top volunteers. It's perfect for sharing with your board or for grant reports to highlight your organization's collective impact.
  • Event volunteers export: This export is pulled from the Event details page and provides the information about the volunteers on the event, the shift they attend, and the sign-up status.
  • Shift Coordinator Worksheet: A PDF file containing basic event information along with a list of volunteers and their assigned shifts. The export also includes the amount of the sport per event.

  • Event List with Volunteers: This export provides a comprehensive list of past or upcoming events along with the volunteers who participated in each one. It’s useful for tracking volunteer engagement across different events, identifying trends in participation, and ensuring that all volunteer hours are properly logged. Organizations often use this report to evaluate the success of specific events and to understand volunteer involvement at a granular level.
  • Hours Report: This export provides detailed information on all approved volunteer hours within a specific time period. It includes data on individual volunteers, events, and total hours worked. It's useful for tracking volunteer activity, ensuring accuracy in hour reporting, and evaluating participation over time.
  • Volunteer Leaderboard: This export shows cumulative hours worked by each volunteer over a specified time period. It’s a great tool for recognizing top volunteers, tracking performance, and celebrating those who contribute the most to your organization.
  • Volunteer Details: This export provides in-depth information about your volunteers, including their contact details, hours worked, event participation, and any other relevant data. It’s helpful for managing volunteer records and getting a full overview of each volunteer's involvement.
  • Youth Volunteering by Event: This export helps you track the contributions of youth volunteers across different events. It provides insights into their participation, hours worked, and engagement, allowing you to better understand their impact and involvement within your organization.
  • Application Responses: This export allows you to see the volunteer responses to your volunteer application. The responses can be filtered by application status.
