Purchasing Texting Credits

Texting Credits are the number of messages your organization can send to contacts with verified phone numbers using the POINT system. They enable you to communicate directly with volunteers via text for important updates and reminders.

Who is Eligible for Texting Credits?

Only organizations with an active Pro Plan are eligible to use Texting Credits. As part of your Pro subscription, you automatically receive 500 Texting Credits included with your plan.

How to Purchase More Texting Credits

You can easily purchase additional Texting Credits at any time as an add-on to your subscription.

  1. Navigate to the Subscription Page:

    • Log in to the POINT system as an organization admin and go to your Subscription page (https://dash.pointapp.org/admin/subscription).

  2. Find the Add-Ons Section:

    1. On this page, locate the Texting Credits add-on section.

    2. If you already have existing credits, click the “Purchase More Credits” button.

    3. If you have no credits, click the “Select Package” button to begin.

Both buttons will redirect you to the same purchase page.




3. Choose a Package:

You will be presented with three different packages to choose from based on your needs:

      • Small Pack: 500 Texting Credits

      • Medium Pack: 1000 Texting Credits

      • Large Pack: 5000 Texting Credits


 

4. Complete Your Purchase:
Select the package that works best for you and click “Buy now.” You will be redirected to the payment page to finalize your purchase.

After a successful payment, the system will automatically add the new credits to your account, and you can begin sending text messages immediately.
