The Texting Status by Contact page provides a complete list of all contacts in your organization who have a phone number. This page gives you a clear overview of a contact's eligibility to receive text messages from your organization
Understanding Texting Statuses
On this page, you will see two distinct statuses for each contact: Automatic Updates Status and Admin Messages Status.
Automatic Updates Status
This status indicates whether the user is subscribed to receive automated messages from the organization.

Subscribed: The user will receive automated text messages, such as Event registration and event reminders. By default, if a volunteer has a verified phone number and is a claimed contact in your organization, their status is automatically set to Subscribed.

Not Subscribed: The user will not receive automatic messages. This status is applied if a volunteer has not yet verified their phone number or if they have unsubscribed from automatic notifications at the organization level.
Admin Messages Status
This status determines whether you, as an admin, can send custom messages to the user's phone number.

Subscribed: You can send custom messages to this volunteer.

Not Subscribed: You cannot send a custom message to this volunteer. You can, however, send them a request to subscribe.

Request Sent: A request has been sent to the volunteer's email asking them to verify their phone number and agree to receive messages from the organization.
