If you created your POINT account using Google, you can log in most conveniently with the "Continue with Google" option. This guide explains why email and password login is unavailable and how to set one up if desired.
Why Can't I Log In with Email and Password (If I Signed Up with Google)?
When you create your POINT account using the "Continue with Google" option, a traditional password is not automatically set for your account. Instead, your Google account acts as your primary authentication method. This means you won't be able to log in by typing your email and a password, as no password exists yet.
Recommended Login Method
For seamless and quick access, we recommend that you continue to use the "Continue with Google" option for all future logins.
How to Set Up a Password for Direct Login
While using Google for login is recommended, you have the option to set up a password for your account. This allows you to log in directly with your email address and this new password, independently of your Google account, if you prefer.
Follow these steps to set up your password:

Log in to Your Account: First, log in to your POINT account using your Google account at: https://dash.pointapp.org/account

Access Account Settings: Once logged in, navigate to your Account Settings.

Select Password Settings: Look for and select the "Password" option or section within your settings.

Set Your New Password:

Enter a strong, new password in the "Password*" field.

Confirm your new password by re-entering it in the "Confirm New Password*" field.

Save Your Changes: Click the "Change" button to save your new password.
Your password is now saved! You can now log in to the POINT system using your email address and this newly created password.
