      How to create an age or demographic restriction for volunteer opportunities?

      This guide explains how to set age or demographic restrictions for volunteer opportunities, ensuring that your event is tailored to the right participants and meets any specific requirements.

      How to create an age or demographic restriction (see video below):

      1. In the Create an Opportunity page, go to the "Volunteer Requirements" tab.
      2. Start adding your requirements under "Who can sign up for this event?".
      3. Under "Age restriction," you can either select "No restriction" or set a minimum age requirement of your choice.
      4. You can also add a "Gender Restriction" by either selecting "No restriction" or choosing specific genders.

      Note: Volunteers that create or claim POINT accounts need to confirm that they are 13 years and older.
