      How to block a volunteer from signing up?

      Want to prevent a volunteer from signing up? This guide shows you how to block a volunteer from signing up for your opportunity

      How to block a volunteer from signing up (see video below):

      1. Start off by creating your opportunity.
      2. To prevent a volunteer (or group of volunteers) from signing up, make the event private to a group that the volunteer(s) are not part of. Here's info on how to create a group.
      3. Under "Basic Info" go to "Privacy Access". You'll want to select "Private"  and then "Private for specific group(s) with Private Access".
      4. You can select the group(s) to which you want to make the event private.

      Note:Groups are free for nonprofit organizations. For schools, local governments, and religious congregations, groups are available with our Pro subscription.
