How do you use an Event Template?

Using Event Templates cuts down on time you spend doing manual tasks (like creating events). It's super easy to get events published quick by using templates. How to use a template (see video below):

Step 1: Select “Manage Events” under the “Volunteer “ tab on the menu in the admin dashboard

Step 2: On the Manage Events page, click on the orange button on the top right-hand side that says “Create Event” and select “From template” in the dropdown. You can choose to use templates that you have created, or templates that have been created by other admins at your organization that are shared with your organization's admins. 

Step 3: A “Choose Event Template” box will appear and you can select which template you want to use and then click on “Apply” in the bottom right-hand corner of the box.

Step 4: This will autofill all the information in your “Create an Event” form. Read over the template and make sure all the information and the dates are correct and then click “publish” at the bottom of the page which creates your event.
