How do you send documents by email? (Pro)

You can email documents to volunteers in several ways: through messages, contacts, or the volunteer roster for an event with our paid Pro subscription.

How to send a document through messages (see video below):

  1. In the admin dashboard, click on "Messages," then select "Send Email."
  2. Click the orange "Send Now" button at the top.
  3. A standard email communication box will appear, where you'll find options at the bottom to either click "Add Documents" or "Select from Library."
  4. When you click "Add Document," you'll be able to browse your computer's files, enter the document name, and add a description.
  5. When you choose "Select from Library," the documents in your library will be displayed. Simply click "Add Documents" to select the one you want to attach.

  1. Navigate to the "Volunteers" tab, then click on "Contacts."
  2. Select the contacts you want to email, then click on "Actions" and choose "Send Email."

  1. Go to the "Opportunities" tab, select "Manage Events," and then click on the event you're looking for.

  2. Click on the event, then go to the "Volunteers" tab.
  3. From there, click on "Actions" and select "Email Volunteers."
  4. A standard email communication box will appear, where you'll find options at the bottom to either click "Add Documents" or "Select from Library."
  5. When you click "Add Document," you'll be able to browse your computer's files, enter the document name, and add a description.
  6. When you choose "Select from Library," the documents in your library will be displayed. Simply click "Add Documents" to select the one you want to attach.
