# How do you Approve/ Edit Submitted Hours?

## Trying to figure out how to manage the hours your volunteer self submitted? It's easy to approve and edit those hours on POINT.

### **How to approve hours from the Tasks page: **

1. Under "Home," click on "Tasks".
2. Go to the “Hours” Tab.
3. Click on “Approve”, “Deny” hours.

To save your time, you can click on the “Approve All” orange button located above the Actions menu. All the hours listed on the page waiting for approval will be approved, including the hours submitted for the Program or event.

### How to approve self submitted hours from the hours tab ( see video below):

1. Under "Tracking" go to "Hours".
2. Locate the hours entry you need to approve that says "Pending"  and then click the three dots located under "Actions".
3. Click "Approve" in the dropdown.

### How to edit self-submitted hours from hours (see video below):

1. Under "Tracking" go to "Hours".
2. Locate the hours entry you need to approve that says "Pending"  and then click the three dots located under "Actions".
3. Click "Edit" where the "Edit Hours" box will appear to make changes.

*Note: Volunteers have the ability to edit their self-submitted hours as long as they are still pending and have not been approved.*
