Adding hours to volunteers as an admin is part of our Pro plan. Volunteers can also make edits to their own self submitted hours if they're pending.
Add hours from +Quick Add (See video below):
- Click on "+Quick Add" located at the top of the menu of your dashboard and select "Hours".
- Select "Hours" in the dropdown menu where the "Add Hours" box will appear. You can search for the contact, add the hours to a program (on Pro), start date and time, duratio, and a comment about the hours.
- Click the "Add" button at the bottom of the box and your hours have been added!
*Note: Admin add hours can be viewed in the "Hours" tab located under "Volunteer".
Add hours from +Quick Add:
Add hours from Contacts (see video below):
- Select "Contacts" located under the "People" tab.
- Find the volunteer you need to add hours for and then click on the button with the three dots to the right of their name. Select "Add Hours" in the drop-down.
- The Add Hours box will pop you where you will need to fill out the required info such as contact name, start date, start time, and duration. You can even select a program to add the hours to or write a comment.
- Click the "Add" button at the bottom of the box and your hours have been added!
Add hours from Contacts:
Add hours from the "Hours" tab (see video below):
- Go to "Hours" located under the "Tracking" tab.
- Click on the "+Add Hours" button located
- The Add Hours box will pop you where you will need to fill out the required info such as contact name, start date, start time, and duration. You can even select a program to add the hours to or write a comment.
- Click the "Add" button at the bottom of the box and your hours have been added!
- To see the hours you added, filter for "admin" under the "Select Source" box at the top.

How to edit hours added by an admin (see video below):
- Under "Tracking" go to the "Hours" tab.
- Go to "Filter" and under "Sources" select "Admin".
- You can either search by contact or locate the hours entry you wish to edit. Under "Actions," click the three dots and select "Edit."
- The "Edit Hours" box will appear, allowing you to make the necessary changes.
- Don't forget to hit save!
How to edit hours added by an admin:
Note: Hours added to an event cannot be edited later pm.
How to delete hours added by an admin ( see video):
Note: Hours added by an admin can't be delete but the entry can be denied so the hours won't be counted in the volunteer's total.
- Under "Tracking" go to the "Hours" tab.
- Go to "Filter" and under "Sources" select "Admin".
- You can either search by contact or locate the hours entry you wish to edit. Under "Actions," click the three dots and select "Deny."
- This will mark the hours entry as "Denied" and won't count towards the volunteer's total.
