How do I cancel or change my volunteer shift?

We get it, life happens sometimes you need to change or cancel a shift.

From the web: 

Step 1: Login to your volunteer dashboard. 

Step 2: On volunteer Home page, scroll down to the bottom of the page where it says “Upcoming Events” OR select "Volunteer" from the left hand menu, and click the tab that says "Your Upcoming Events" on that page. 

Step 3: Select the event you need to change or cancel a shift for.

Step 4: Click the button that says "Chance or Cancel" located on the top right hand corner of the event details screen. 

Step 5: To change your shift, simply deselect the shift you are unable to attend and then select a new shift. Click “next” and then “confirm”.

To cancel a shift, click on “change or cancel” and then deselect the shift. Hit “next” and then “confirm”. 

In the app:

Step 1: On the "Events" screen, tap the tab that says "Your Upcoming Events" OR
go to your profile and scroll down to “Upcoming Opportunities” at the bottom of the page. 

Step 2: Select the event you wish to cancel or change your volunteer shift and then click on the button “change of cancel”.

To change your shift, simply deselect the shift you are unable to attend and then select a new shift. Click “next” and then “confirm”.

To cancel a shift, click on “change or cancel” and then deselect the shift. Hit “next” and then “confirm”
