Having difficulty checking yourself into an event when scanning the QR code? See how you can troubleshoot below.
Note: The check in feature works a bit differently on Apple vs Android phones.
On Android devices, a browser opens when the code is scanned - regardless of whether POINT's app is installed. If the volunteer is not logged in to POINT, you must first log in. After which, the next steps for the check will appear. If the volunteer is already logged in to POINT in the browser, the event and next steps will appear immediately.
On Apple, when you scan the QR code the app will open (if it's installed) or the browser will open if it's not installed. If the volunteer is not logged in to POINT, you must first log in.

Check-in stations are tied to a day and will pull up the opportunities you are signed up for that day. Ex: A volunteer who checks in for an event on a Monday will only see the opportunities they've signed up for that Monday when they check -in via QR code or kiosk.
Step 1. Open your POINT app on your mobile device
Step 2. To view the events you are signed up for you can go to the Events tab and click on "Your Upcoming Events" at the top of the page. You can also go to your profile and check under "Upcoming Opportunities".
Step 3. Check the dates for the events you are signed up for to make sure that you are registered for the correct date.
