Understanding Student Volunteering vs. Student Group Volunteering

POINT offers specialized features to help schools and organizations manage their student volunteers. Depending on your needs, you can choose between a full-school individual tracking approach or a group-based approach for specific clubs and classes.

Here is a breakdown of the two options and their pricing.

1. Student Volunteering (Individual Management)

This feature is designed for managing individual student records across your entire organization or school.

Key Features:

  • It includes a dedicated menu item in the admin dashboard that opens a separate, specific contact list just for students.

  • This allows admins to easily mark, filter, and manage individual contacts as "Students" separately from regular volunteers.

  • You can access community volunteer opportunities to display to your students.

  • You can also track, edit, and report on individual student volunteer hours.

Pricing (The Full-School Option):  $2 per student per year.

2. Student Group Volunteering (Classes & Clubs)

This feature is built specifically for organizing students into smaller, distinct entities rather than managing the whole school at once.

Key Features:

  • It allows admins to group students together into specific Classes or Clubs (like the National Honor Society or a Service Club).

  • You can easily track group-specific goals, group hours, and manage events specific to that club or class.

Pricing (The Individual Group Option): $250 per group under 100 students.
