It is crucial to enter your event address correctly successful event publication. The Event Address is used as the primary criterion when the POINT system searches for events for volunteers.
1. The Verified Method (Selecting from the Drop-down)
This is the most reliable way to ensure the address is saved in a standardized format:

Begin typing the address details into the required "Address" field.

Crucially, select one of the suggested options from the drop-down menu that appears.

The system will automatically populate the field with a verified address.
2. The Visual Method (Selecting Directly on the Map)
If you need to pinpoint an exact location on the map or are unsure of the address format:

Click the address marker icon (location pin icon) next to the address field.

A pop-up window titled "Find a Location" with a map will appear.

Search by city, neighborhood, or place name to navigate the map.

Click on the exact spot on the map to place the marker.

Check that the address is correct and click "Save."
