How do Check-in stations work on POINT?

With our Pro plan, volunteers can use check-in stations to sign themselves in at events.

There are two different types of check-in stations: Volunteer Check-in Kiosks or Volunteer Self-Check-In- via QR Code. Your Check-in station can be either the kiosks, QR code, or a combination of both.

*Note: Check-in stations are tied to a date not an event. When a volunteer checks in, the check-in station will pull up all the evens they are registered for that date.

Volunteer Check-in Kiosks:

With kiosks, volunteers can check themselves on the organization's laptop or iPad without an admin needing to be present. Volunteers search their name and our system will show all the opportunities they are registered for that day. See more information on how volunteers check in using kiosks.

*Note: You can even create different colored-coded Check-in stations from your different locations and programs.

QR Code:

You can easily print a PDF or digitally share a QR code. Volunteers can scan the code with their mobile devices to check themselves in. See more information about how volunteers check in using a QR code.

*Note: Don't forget to add the right admin for the event so volunteers can connect with the right person if they have any issues signing in.
