There are 4 standard packages available for POINT organizations: Basic +, Basic + MVR, Essential and Essential + MVR. Nonprofits are also able to customize packages outside of these standard offerings.

Checkr offers 4 standard packages to POINT organizations:
Different packages contain different types of background check screenings run at the same time. Nonprofits select the screenings necessary for their organization's needs. Nonprofits could request different screenings based on different volunteer roles, events or shifts.
Note: If you don't see your background check package listed here, please contact the requesting organization for more details about which screenings it entails. Nonprofits are able to customize background check packages for their needs. Custom packages are labeled as "Custom" in POINT.

SSN Trace
SSN trace confirms the SSN is valid and identifies both the state and the year of issuance. The search also covers the national death index. Learn more here.
Sex Offender Registry
Checkr searches sex offender registries in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Any known sex offender matching your candidate is listed, with identifying information, as well as details of the offense(s) depending on the state or reporting jurisdiction. Learn more here.
Global Watchlist Records
Checkr searches various US and international government watch lists, such as the Office of Foreign Asset Control, Interpol and Specially Designated Nationals. Learn more here.
National Criminal Records
The national criminal records is a multi-jurisdictional search that encompasses numerous sources: national security sources, numerous federal databases, and arrest and criminal data from various local, county and state agencies. Learn more here.
- County Criminal Search
*If a potential record is identified Checkr automatically performs a County Level Verification in the location(s) of the charge. A $15 CLV (County-level verification) fee will be charged. - Unlimited County Criminal Search
Checkr will perform county criminal checks for all counties returned for that applicant over the last 7 year period. This includes any legally reportable felony and misdemeanor convictions, pending cases and dismissed records. Learn more here.
Motor Vehicle Report
MVR searches will typically report information regarding the status of an operator's driving privileges, restrictions, expiration date, license type, and class, endorsements, suspensions or revocations, DUI history, moving violations, and accidents for the state where the applicant’s license was issued. Violations typically remain on the MVR report for three years, although convictions for serious offenses may be reported for five years or more, depending on the state.
